For option 1, the U are U fingerprint scanner is
attached to a stand-alone PC in which the TAS –
Admin & TAS Console software have been
installed.
In option 2, the U are U fingerprint scanner is
attached to a computer on the network. The
console pack is installed on this computer. The
console is lined with the TAS Administrator’s
(Server) pack on another computer in the
network. Similarly, two console packs installed
on two computers, can be linked to the Admin
Server pack on any computer.
Option 3, is similar to option 2. However, the
console plus the containing PC is housed in a
custom-made kiosk. This is for ease in clocking.
The USB num pad is for staff to key-in their
staff identity number before clocking.
In option 4, the Bioclock IV fingerprint scanner
is used in place of the U are U fingerprint
scanner. It is connected through a network port
to the computer installed with TAS Admin Server
pack. The BioClock IV can function independent
of a computer, but will eventually be connected
to a computer for generation of data.
In option 5, the Bioclock IV is configured for
Time Attendance and door access. |
